Green and Gold Teams Win in Cold and Rainy Weather

No Hoodies, No Problem: Gold Team Conquer the Cold with Heart and Hustle

In a remarkable show of resilience and determination, both the Diamond and Gold teams emerged victorious in their respective matches, battling through the cold and rainy conditions. The Gold team's performance, in particular, was a testament to their grit and adaptability, as they braved the elements in their dresses.

The Gold team started the game with a 3-1 deficit in the first quarter, but their attacking play in the second quarter set them up for success. Their defense also stepped up, shutting down the opposition and allowing only two more goals for the remainder of the game. Meghan was named the Player of the Game, while Eleanor received the Players' Player award, and Mabel was recognized as the Coaches' Player in her Charters league debut.

On the other hand, the Diamond Green team had a different experience, starting the game with a commanding 4-0 lead in the first quarter. They eventually won the match 9-5,
GOG's were Izzy P, Coaches Player was Bella well deserved Players player to be voted at training due to the rain.
The lesson learned was that a positive mindset and the basics of netball are even more important when playing in cold and wet conditions. As their after-game photo demonstrated, once gold team embraced the weather without hoodies, proving that running and staying focused can help overcome the cold.
